Another travel company failure: Bluebookonline goes bust

Bluebookonline was a “bed bank”, which means it was a company that sold accommodation only. It ceased trading on Tuesday October 7, 2008.
Following my earlier post this makes four travel firms that have gone out of business since the fall of XL Leisure Group.
One reason being touted in the media is that with less flights going out to all of the various hotels worldwide, there are fewer sales out there to be had. With margins fairly tight, the sudden capacity cuts are therefore have dented these margins perhaps a step too far.
