Question time: TTG uses Twitter to quiz boss of Virgin Atlantic
So here’s a great idea – using social media to allow people to send in questions for the boss of a high-profile airline…
(Note: Read on for more details, or if you just want to get stuck in and ask a question, click here)
Steve Ridgway, chief executive of Virgin Atlantic, will spend the day at the office of Travel Trade Gazette. He’ll be the guest editor for the 19th June issue, as current editor Lucy Huxley is on maternity leave. Here’s a recent interview with him, if you want some background information.
Now hopefully there’ll be none of the nonsense we saw a while ago with the Telegraph’s Twitterfall, but on ttglive.com we’ll be showing the questions that are being asked by the Twitter/Travel community, using the hash tag #asksteve. So watch this space, and look at ttglive.com tomorrow…
So go ahead, get on Twitter and fire away – just don’t forget to put #asksteve after your question.
Meanwhile, TTG is still looking for another guest editor to come in and edit an issue.
