Media 140, and agent turns social media advisor

Two very contrasting and thought-provoking uses of social media…
On one hand… followed some of Media 140 earlier this week – looked liked a pretty hardcore bunch of tech-savvy journalists trying to get grips with new media and journalism. Was interesting.
On the other hand, My Shitty Twenties – an honestly-written blog from a travel consultant (and now social media advisor at Hays Travel) that uses a blogging technology to, well, actually write about stuff. She’s just picked up two awards at the Manchester blog Awards.
