Where do you begin with a landing page? Tough one, but here goes.
To start with, the present… I’m currently group chief sub editor at TTG Media.
As well as sub-editing across the print and online portfolio, I write, and commission, articles about technology, and edit the “Talk” section, for Travel Trade Gazette each week, as well as articles for TTG Media’s luxury magazine, ttgluxury.

I also look after social media for the magazine; I set up, and manage, both our Facebook and Twitter pages, where I engage with readers daily.
For a while I blogged at this very website (previously it was called Journeys Through Travel - browse through the 550 posts and 350 comments using the search bar or drop down menu on the right).
This saw me delve more into online, and collaborative, journalism, and one of the outcomes was a Travel/Twitter database I produced to chart the rise of the use of social media in the travel industry (1,300+ entries and counting).
I’ve also organised several “Travel Tweetups”, working alongside Hilton, with the most recent one in November 2010 event attracting 160 travel professionals.
Meanwhile, I was an “expert” at 2010′s World Travel Market’s Advice Clinic, where I helped a range of travel companies with their social media questions.
