Disappointing – UK government commits to ‘unfair’ APD

I’ll include “No 10 petitions” in this post as it’s a bit new media-ish (I think)…

The screen grab above (click it) is a lame government response to a campaign launched by Travel Trade Gazette. I’ve also blogged about it here: Fair Fares: How the online community can help save the Caribbean

The most offending paragraph: “Ministers understand some countries will be disappointed with the new banding structure for APD, and that any banded tax structure will see some instances close to the threshold.”

Disappointing is defintely the word here…
